Advance Notice of High Tides for Tidal Communities
Natural Resources Wales (NRW) suggest that
households and businesses situated in tidal communities take the
precautionary action to fit flood protection products in advance of
these tides as the risk of tidal flooding may increase.
Total tide heights are dependent on a number
of factors including storm surge. These factors may increase or
lower the actual heights the tide may reach. At this time it is far
too early to predict these variables. NRW will monitor the
situation closely and issue flood warnings if necessary
These higher astronomical tides will be
on:
- 21st
February 2015
- 22nd
March 2015
- 31st
August 2015
- 28th
September 2015
